Parameter Sources

Each of the three parameter sets has its own packaged SQLite database, imported from ch1_orig.xls, ch2_orig.xls or ch3_orig.xls. The registry in ecosys.data.parameter_sets records the workbook SHA-256 for each set. The default valley workbook (ch1_orig.xls) has SHA-256 a61cedbcac04752346a29d1f1fc9a80f94058a90a3bb9e606627b366fd8366a4.

Scientific records link to source_reference records directly or through their parent records, and each database records its source-workbook hash. The importer uses named ranges and fixed cell positions, but many database source references identify a table family rather than an individual scalar cell. Import diagnostics provide coordinates for defaulted or omitted values; that diagnostic ledger is returned by the exporter, not persisted in SQLite.

TestCs137.xls was used for historical comparisons on the legacy branch and is not parameter input. The maintained food-chain regression tests use the three preserved report workbooks under tests/artifacts_ecosys_for_excel/.
